Our industrial Intimus 1700 shredder can take on any job, big or small, from 20 kilos (approx. three archive boxes) to over half a tonnes worth of confidential material including ring binders, thick bundles of computer data and lever arch folders in one hour.
This clever machine shreds everything it’s given, including paper clips, staples and ringbinders, eliminating the time-consuming removal of metal parts before shredding.
The paper is reduced to tiny particles - the Ministry of Defence certified size - making it impossible to read any of the shredded matter and alleviates the worry of unscrupulous individuals stealing confidential information or individual identities.
All the recycled paper is sent to local company, Ross-shire Recycing, for pulping for re-use (backed by SEPA).
Once the shredding process has been finished a completion certificate will be issued giving you peace of mind on several fronts: the data has been rendered unreadable, your company has met with the stringent Data Protection Act and fulfils its need to look after the environment.
